Change eDocs Integration type to Passive

 

Expected result: Remove eDocs save prompts from Office applications. 


NOTE: Before following the steps below, save your work and close all Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project).

  1. Go to Windows Search and search for Control Panel.

  1. Under Programs, select Uninstall a Program.

  1. Scroll down on the list of programs and right-click OpenText eDOCS DM 16.7 Extensions (x64) and select Change.

  1. Once the setup file opens, select Next.

  1. Select Change.

  1. Make no changes to the settings and select Next.

  1. Change all integration types of all available applications to Passive and select Next.
